A very warm welcome to Prestwich!
Church Building
Prestwich Methodist Church, Chapel Street, off Bury New Road, Prestwich, Manchester M25 1AA.
We face onto Bury New Road (A56) in Prestwich Village, at the pedestrian crossing near Church Lane.
Our church building was opened in 1990, but there has been a Methodist church on this site since 1841, and a house church as early as 1805.
Incidentally, the large cross on the front exterior wall is made from timber from the old church hall.
Church Family
As a worshipping community, we embrace the need for outreach both home and abroad. So alongside local community activities, we have strong links with India, Bolivia, Romania, and Nicaragua.
There's a warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and - we hope - a glimpse of God's love amongst our congregation.
Resources
Worship resources include Hymns & Psalms, Songs of Fellowship book 1, plus overhead projector and a very wide selection of acetates.
Note: The Circuit projector/PowerPoint is available by arrangement.
The bible we normally use is the New International Version.
Church notices are produced weekly. Any material should be submitted by Tuesday evening.
